Donation Information So far, the majority (77%) of our funds have gone towards education (rebuilding schools and learning centers), while 19% has gone to the purchase of medicines or health-related services. The rest of our funds are towards miscellaneous needs, such as when our project funded a kitchen in a monastery in Darjeeling, India, as part of Phase 1 of our project (June 2015).
Our project does not merely raise funds and give money to organizations in Nepal. We directly fund our projects and if any funds are given to our on the ground contact, they are asked to produce receipts and account for the money which is checked twice for trust and validation purposes: first by another contact and secondly by us.
