The team first visited Sajilo cafe located in Kyu-Karuizawa for team bonding. We were also able to hear from Mr. Nir, the cafe owner from Nepal, on the situation of Nepal. Next, the team met with the owner, Mr. Aitarm of Sruje. Located one road away from Kyu-Karuizawa Ginza road, Sruje sells ethnic folk craft goods mainly from Nepal. We are very grateful for his advices on the financial side of Project Nepal’s shop. We would recommend you to visit this shop! 19th October The team made a visit to Nagano Children’s Hospital in Matsumoto-city, with a successful background on launching a Dr. Car through crowdfunding in April this year. We were very fortunate to have been able to gain advices on marketing techniques. It was a very meaningful interview for the management of Project Nepal from now on.  [ISAK’s Project Nepal Fall Collection Sale]
Last Friday, October 6th, 2017, ISAK’s Project Nepal had our Fall Collection Sale of 2017. The featured products included winter clothing, Nepali tea, school supplies, which were brought exclusively from Nepal and Thailand. We sincerely appreciate the contribution of staff, faculty and students of UWC ISAK Japan who supported us by purchasing our goods. We are sure that they will enjoy the fall of Karuizawa while being warmed up with our products. The money we were able to raised will be put towards paying day to day expenses in our project (running costs), and hopefully support our new members for trip to Nepal.
