Today ISAK's ProjectNEPAL participated in the Karuizawa Winter Festival 2015, and set up a booth dedicated to our project. Our aim was to raise both awareness and funds for our project. Along with distributing information pamphlets and business cards, we sold apples (donated to us by a kind lady from Nagano, Japan), Nepali snacks called 'khapse' which we cooked ourselves the night before, Nepali handicraft bracelets and Nepali tea. The fundraising event was a success and all the proceeds went to the project's funds. We thank everyone who made this opportunity possible for us and all those who bought from our booth at the festival!

We are pleased to announce that after a long wait because of many problems happening in Nepal, the construction of our Health Post in Narayanthan, Sindhupalchok began on November 23, 2015! The construction material has already been bought and transported to the construction site. This wouldn't have been possible without the constant support and feedback we have received. We would also like to thank Mingmar Sherpa, the person in-charge of this project in Nepal for his hard work dedication. Watch out for more pictures and videos!
